Join us for a full day dedicated to focused writing at Litteraturhuset i Stavanger. Shut Up & Write Stavanger is giving its usual writing sessions a little more room: several hours to work on your own project while sharing a creative space with fellow writers.
Whether you’re working on a novel, poetry, a screenplay, essays, short stories, journaling, or something entirely different, you’re welcome. There is no need to share your work, read anything aloud, or be at any particular stage. Simply bring your project and spend the day writing with us.
The day will look like this:
10:00 Arrival, finding your spot & short introduction
10:30–12:30 Writing session I
12:30–13:30 Lunch break
13:30–15:30 Writing session II
15:30–16:00 Time to chat, exchange thoughts, get feedback if wanted, or simply hang out
You’re welcome to bring your own lunch. Drinks will be available from the Litteraturhuset bar.
There will also be a few small creative surprises around the space for anyone who needs a little inspiration or a short break from their writing.
